Berry Cream Pastry Puffs

I make at least 500 of these every Christmas — and they never last long. Light, airy pastry puffs filled with whipped cream and berries, then dusted with powdered sugar… They’re like little bites of magic! ✨


📝 Ingredients

For the Pastry Dough:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) water

  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Berry Cream Filling:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, chilled

  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries), chopped

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

  • Optional: Melted chocolate or berry sauce for drizzling 🍫

1. Make the Pastry Dough:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • In a saucepan, heat water, butter, and salt until it reaches a boil.
